Honestly, my master plan was that I just wanted to look good naked in front of a mirror.
So I just got a gym membership and started lifting and running with no idea of what the hell I was doing.
All I knew was something was better than nothing.
On the scoreboard–a one is always better than a zero, right?
At the time, I thought if I got ripped it would fix everything in my relationship... and it actually did!
...not exactly how I thought it would–but it still worked!
I'll be the first to admit that it was an act of vanity.
Of course we all know that women fall in love with us for far more reasons than just looks.
Imperfect action trumps perfect meditation.
Just do something is all I knew.
Get ripped. Why the hell not?!
Here's what happened in a nutshell...
I discovered that getting ripped made me a better man.
Yes, my physique improved but...
My marriage and everything else in my life improved along with it.
Get this...I even dropped alcohol and tobacco, and even started a relationship with God!
I had no intention of doing those things but when I did...
